Choir Updates: HoCo Parade, Disney Deadline
Homecoming Parade
Foothill Choir students have shown significant interest in participating in the 2024 Homecoming Parade. We are excited to give them the chance to do so! The parade begins at 6pm on Monday, September 9th. Participation in the parade is optional, but contingent on us having a good number of students participate. We will take a headcount in class next week and hope that many, many choir members will be joining us!
Choir will also be selling Water Bottles and Otter Pops at Mission Hills park at the Family Night Event after the parade to raise funds for choir socials this year. We need students and parents to help make this fundraiser happen!
Parents, Click HERE to:
Donate an insulated lunch bag/tote (lots of these on sale right now)
provide a large cooler filled with ice that we can use for the evening (you can have it back after), and/or
Volunteer to be an adult supervisor for 1 hr at the Family Night event

Volunteer to be a traveling salesperson for 1 hour at the Family Night event
Disneyland Sign Up Deadline: September 13
We currently have 25 people signed up for the Disneyland Trip in November. That is great! I am hoping that we can get at least 5 more people (students or chaperones) signed up.
The cost of the trip ($500) was based on an estimated 30 travelers, so we are close but still a little bit under budget right now. If you were on the fence about Disneyland, take this as your sign: come with us! The deadline to sign up is September 13, 2024.
September 13 is also the day that the next Disney Trip Payment ($150) is due. That payment can be made to the Banker. Mrs. Noorda will not be receiving payments.
